Common fixed points of a finite family of multivalued quasi-nonexpansive mappings in uniformly convex Banach spaces

In this paper, we introduce a one-step iterative scheme for finding a common fixed point of a finite family of multivalued quasi-nonexpansive mappings in a real uniformly convex Banach space. We establish weak and strong convergence theorems of the propose iterative scheme under some appropriate conditions.

Approximation of fixed points for a continuous representation of nonexpansive mappings in Hilbert spaces

This paper introduces an implicit scheme for a   continuous representation of nonexpansive mappings on a closed convex subset of a Hilbert space with respect to a   sequence of invariant means defined on an appropriate space of bounded, continuous real valued functions of the semigroup.   The main result is to    prove the strong convergence of the proposed implicit scheme to the unique solutio...

On fixed points of fundamentally nonexpansive mappings in Banach spaces

We first obtain some properties of a fundamentally nonexpansive self-mapping on a nonempty subset of a Banach space and next show that if the Banach space is having the Opial condition, then the fixed points set of such a mapping with the convex range is nonempty. In particular, we establish that if the Banach space is uniformly convex, and the range of such a mapping is bounded, closed and con...

Approximation of Common Fixed Points of a Finite Family of Asymptotically Demicontractive Mappings in Banach Spaces

By virtue of new analytic techniques, we analyze and study several strong convergence theorems for the approximation of common fixed points of asymptotically demicontractive mappings via the multistep iterative sequence with errors in Banach spaces. Our results improve and extend the corresponding ones announced by Osilike , Osilike and Aniagbosor, Igbokwe, Cho et al., Moore and Nnoli, Hu and a...

A New Iterative Method for Common Fixed Points of a Finite Family of Nonexpansive Mappings

Let X be a real Banach space, C a nonempty closed convex subset of X, and T : C → C a mapping. Recall that T is nonexpansive if ‖Tx − Ty‖ ≤ ‖x − y‖ for all x, y ∈ C. Let Ti : C → C, i 1, 2, . . . , r, be nonexpansive mappings. Let Fix Ti denote the fixed points set of Ti, that is, Fix Ti : {x ∈ C : Tix x}, and let F : ⋂r i 1Fix Ti . For a given x1 ∈ C, and a fixed r ∈ N N denote the set of all ...
